Total Eclipse of Fashion

Despot education, music video style.  We couldn't have said it better ourselves.

  1. Simply brilliant. Steinman's compositions always had a whiff of the Wagnerian to them, this one being no exception, and are all thus utterly appropriate to the study of despotism.

While Bonnie's Evita is a truly bravissima turn, who knows what dictatorial heights (or depths) might have been reached by song's original intended singer, Meat Loaf himself. I envision more balcony scenes and no running scenes.

Oh, and the "alternate lyrics" had us falling out of our chairs.
